Lena Dunham, a very versatile writer cum director and photographer was born on 13 May, 1986 in the New York state of USA. Her complete name is New Yorker Lena Dunham and she is the daughter of a painter. Her mother, Laurie Simmons is a photographer cum designer. Lena Dunham completed her studies from the Oberlin College that is located in Ohio. She also achieved a creative writing degree from this college. It is important for you to note that Lena Dunham started writing short feature films during her academic life. In the year 2009, Lena Dunham created her first web series and it was named as Delusional Downtown Divas and it really became a super hit.  Her first feature film Creative Nonfiction also got released in the year 2009 and it scored many awards.
