She is an actress who was born and brought up in America . Fanning began to eminence after the step forward performance at an early age of seven years in the movie I Am Sam (2001). Her feat fetched her nomination for the best awards like  Screen Actors Guild Award when she was just 8 years old, in the year 2002.She became the youngest nominee in history of Hollywood industry.She acted as a juvenille actress and went on making several high-profile movies like  Man on Fire (2004), Charlotte's Web (2006) and War of the Worlds (2005) .Fanning thereafter began the switch to many more adult roles in movies like The Secret Life of Bees (2008) and Hounddog (2007) .
