Vera Ann Farmiga was born on August 6, 1973. She is an American actress and film director. The actress made her film debut in the 1998 drama thriller “Return to Paradise”. She followed it up with supporting roles in the 2000 romantic film “Autumn in New York”. Farmiga is the second of the seven children. She was born in Clifton, New Jersey. She is the daughter of Mykhailo and Luba Farmiga both of whom are Ukrainian immigrants.Her sister is the popular actress Taissa Farmiga.  The famous actress graduated from Hunterdon Central Regional High School in 1991. The actress married Renn Hawkey in September 2008. She has won an award for her movie “Middleton” in 2013 and her movie “The Judge” has been nominated for an award in the year 2014.
