Ricky Dene Gervais, English Comedian, director, actor, producer, writer, and musicianwere born on 1961. He achieved the mainstream glory and fame with the TV series The Office/. Later his series Extras co-directed and co-written with Stephen Merchant brought him to the limelight. He played the leading role as David Brent in the series The Office. He has also appeared in several Hollywood movies like Ghost Town, The Invention of Living. All these movies fetched his Golden Globe Award between the years 2101 and 2012. Apart from this, he has also received BAFTA Award for seven times, Golden Globe Award, Emmy Awards and Screen Actor Guild Award. TIME magazine name him among the top 100 most influential people for the year 2010. In 1983, while he was in the final year in UCL, he formed the new wave pop group. He has been described as the Bon Jovi phase for the year 2003 by a band “Sacred Hearts”
