Don Frank Cheadle was born on 29th November 1964 to Bettye and Donald Frank Cheadle Sr. Cheadle studied Acting at the California Institute of the Arts. He was nominated for an Oscar in the film, Hotel Rwanda (2004). He had appeared in many movies including Boogie Nights (1997), Bulworth (1998), Traffic (2000), and Swordfish (2001). He had a role as a district attorney, Jon Littleton in the Picket Fences series. His breakthrough role was the Mouse in the Devil in a Blue Dress (1995). He worked alongside with Steven Soderbergh in a number of movies including Out of Sight (1998), Traffic (2000) and Ocean's Thirteen (2007). He also starred with Adam Sandler in the film, Reign Over Me. He costarred with Kristen Bell in the cable show, House of Lies. He acted as Sammy Davis, Jr in The Rat Pack (1998). Besides, he also coauthored with John Prendergast a book called Not On Our Watch: The Mission to End Genocide in Darfur and Beyond which was published in 2007
