Tyler Lee Hoechlin was born on 11th September 1987 in Corona, California. He started acting when he was 9 years old. He is well known for his role as Michael Sullivan Jr. in Road to Perdition (2002). He won many awards for his role in Road to Perdition including Phoenix Film Critics Society Award for Best Youth Performance, Saturn Award for Best Performance by a Younger Actor and Young Artist Award for Best Youth Actor Leading Role in a Motion Picture Drama. His role in this movie allowed him to get the role Martin Brewer in the television series, 7th Heaven (2003-2008). He starred as Wes Harding in Grizzly Rage (2007). He played as Nick in Solstice (2008). He played the role of Gerry in Hall Pass (2011). He starred as Ricky Hershey in Melvin Smarty (2012). He is the main role, Derek Hale, in the TV series from 2011 – present.
