Judi Dench mini bio: Judith Olivia Dench Judith Olivia Dench is an English actress who was born on 9th December 1934. She has worked in films and theatres and is a singer at the same time. It was in the year 1957, that she made her debut with the Old Vic Company. She started playing the roles from Shakespeare plays and later joined the film industry. Her first film gave her the BAFTA Award for the most promising newcomer. She has mostly done theatre and has not been much into singing. However, she has always drawn strong reviews for her singing. She made her mark by doing movies like A Fine Romance; As Time goes By, Sky fall, Golden Eye, MrsBrown, etc. Her work has fetched her several awards and fellowships as well. She was last seen in The Best Exotic Marigold Hotel in 2012.
