Norma jean mortenson was born on June 1, 1926 inLosAngeles county hospital. She died  on august 5,1962. Normally was a model, an actress and singer.She starred in commercial motion pictures. She was a sex symbol. All about eve and the asphalt jungle were some of the films that made her popular. She also played lead roles in don’t bother to knock and Niagara. The film, bus stop made her to get nominated for a golden globe award. She had a production studio, Marilyn Monroe productions, made her get nominated for the BAFTA award after it had released the prince and the showgirl. Norma also received another award, golden globe award, for the film some like it hot.  Norma was the third born daughter of Gladys Pearl baker and Martin Edward mortensen. She studied literature and art from theUniversity of California, Los Angeles. She was married three times. Her first marriage was to James Dougherty. Joe DiMaggio was her second husband and Arthur miller being her third husband. There are still other relationships that she had with MarlonBrando, john and Robert Kennedy.
