Nia Long whose birth name is Nitara Carlynn Long was born on October 30th 1970. She is an American actress and is recognized roles in the television series “The Fresh Prince of Bel-Air” and “Third Watch”. She has also acted in films such as “Too Deep”, “Boyz n the Hood”, “Boiler Room” and Soul Food from amongst the others. Her acting coach was Betty Bridge. She first appeared on television for her role as Kathryn "Kat" Speakes on the soap opera Guiding Light. She is also a mother of two sons. It was in 2013 that she got an award for the movie The Best Man Holiday. For her television work she was awarded for the House of lies in 2012. She is considered to be the best female actress of America.
