For his dedication to the music, he received Grammy Award, Brit Award, Academy Award, and Golden Globe Award to name some.  The Billboard magazine named him as the 3rd most successful solo artist. In the Rolling Stone magazine, he was ranked 49among top 100 influential music artist in the era of rock and roll.
