Randy Newman mini bio:

Randall Stuart Newman

 He was born in the year 1943 in Los Angeles California.  Randall was educated at University of California. Initially after his birth, the family moved to Louisiana but later on relocated to Los Angeles.  When he grew up, Randall started writing pop songs which became quite popular after a period of time.  In the year 2001, he won his first academy award for writing the songs in the movie called monsters Inc.  Apart from being a composer, Newman is also a singer and a piano player. Many musicians released the won versions of his songs that became more famous. Some of the songs were “Guilty”, “You can leave your hat on” and “Mama told me not to come”.  He was inducted in the Louisiana music hall of fame in the year 2011.
