Emily Jane Browning was born on December 7, 1988 in Melbourne, Victoria, Australia. She is the daughter of Andrew and Shelley Browning. Emily has two younger brothers named Nicholas and Matthew. Emily has starred in sucker punch, sleeping beauty and the uninvited. She has been interested in the arts, with English literature and photography.From 2011, Emily was in a relationship with English actor Max Irons. Unfortunately, the relationship ended in 2012.  She is now close friends with upcoming Australian filmmaker Guy Franklin. Her second film is to be directed by franklin. She has won a young actors award,award an international for best actress and has been nominated for young actors award for the film after the deluge and the echo of thunder. She has also got nominations for best performance as leading young actress for the young artist awards. All these have made her thrive in her career.
