She started her career with TV serials in 80’s, and with constant rise in her career she made it to the big screen eventually. In her illustrious acting career, she has acted in many movies, acting for various challenging roles which varied across different genres of movie styles. Some of her most critically acclaimed and commercially successful movies include- The Night We Called It a Day, Mockingbird Lane, Two Girls from Leemore, Women in Film, Dead & Breakfast, Better off Ted, American Intellectuals and Many more. Throughout her career, she won many prestigious awards for her excellence in acting. She won Academy Award for Best Supporting Actress, for her role in Seeking a Friend for the End of the World. Her performances in movies and TV shows received good critical acclaim with commercial success.
