Andrew Scott was born on 21 October 1976 in Dublin, Ireland. He was an Irish film, television and stage actor. He acted in the youth theater when he studied at Gonzaga College in Dublin. He also starred in 2 advertisements in the Irish television. To join Dublin's Abbey Theater, he dropped out from the drama degree he is taking at Trinity College in Dublin. He was awarded the Laurence Olivier Award for Outstanding Achievement or Performance in 2005. He received the laurence Olivier Award for Outstanding Achievement in Affiliate Theater in 2010. Before he became famous, he had a starring role in a Korea film. He played as Paul McCartney in the movie called Lennon Naked. He has 2 sisters. Andrew Scott starred in a number of movies including Longitude, Dead Bodies, Little White Lie, Lennon Naked, Sherlock, and the Scapegoat. He is currently filming two shows including Locke and Pride.
