Orlando Jonathan Blanchard Bloom, an English actor with great looks and amazing personality, popularly known for his role in the movie The Lord of the Rings as the elf prince Legolas. Bloom has done many films in the Hollywood industry which made him famous and most sorted after actor in the industry. Though, he started his career with the stage shows West End's In Celebration which was again a hit.

Bloom’s first debut as a screen actor was a small role where he played a role of a rent guy in the movie Wilde in the year 1997. But in the year 1999 he got his first break through role in The Lord of the Rings being Legolas. The story behind this movie as mentioned in the magazines was, he originally auditioned for the role of Faramir which appeared in the second sequel of the movie, but director casted him for the major lead role instead.
