A man with many aptitudes and honours to add to his stake, john has been acclaimed for his role in works like Away we go, It’s Complicated, The Muppets, Something Borrowed.

He turned writer and producer with his movie Promise Land. He has also given voice over for many movies including Shrek, The Third.  He will be soon seen in the yet to be released movie named as The Prophet.

He started dating actress Emily Blunt in the year 2008 and married her soon after in 2010. It was reported in September 2013, that they were expecting their very first child.

Apart from acting and a very good personal life , he is also a supporter of the Democratic party in his personal life and also campaigns to its favour as and when required.
