James Patrick Caviezel is an American Actor who was born on 26 September, 1968 in Mount Vernon in Washington, USA. He always wanted to be a NBA league basketball star but a foot injury in college put an end to that dream. After that he took interest in acting and landed himself a small role in an independent movie called “My Own Private Idaho”. After that he got himself roles in mainstream movies like “Murder, She Wrote”, “The Wonder Years”, “Diggstown”, “Wyatt Earp”, etc. He finally gained recognition in “The Thin Red Line” where he played the role of Private Witt, an idealist. He became more popular after starring in movies like “Angel Eyes”, “Frequency” and “Ride with the Devil”. His strong Christian beliefs landed him a role in “Passion of the Christ”.
