Isabelle Ann Huppert was born on 16th march 1953 in Paris, France. She started acting since young because her mother encouraged her. By the time she was teenager, she is already a star in Paris. She won a prize for acting while attending the Versailles Conservatoire. She also attended the National Conservatory of Dramatic Art in Paris. Her first appearance is in Faustine et le bel ete (1972) . Later, he appeared in Les Valseuses (1974), La Dnntelliere (1977). She received a BAFTA award for the movie La Dentelliere. Her first appearance in American film is Michael Cimino's Heaven's Gate. She won Best Actress award twice including Violette Noziere (1978) and The Piano Teacher (2001) at the Cannes Film Festival. She also received the Volpi Cup twice including Une affaire de femmes (1988) and La Ceremonie (1985) for Best Actress at the Venice Film Festival. She was voted asBest Actress twice at the European Film Awards.
