Michael Jackson, a dancer, singer-songwriter and businessman was born on August 29, 1958 in Gary, Indiana. He died on June 25, 2009.Michael was the son of Katherine Esther Scruse and father, Joseph Walter Jackson who was a steel mill worker. Michael had three sisters, Rebbie, Janet and La Toy. His brothers are Jackie, Randy, Marlon, Tito and Jermaine. He was popularly known as king of pop. He was famous for the dance “the moon walk”. His album the “thriller” is one of the bestselling albums.His music career has led him to win several awards such as 26 American awards, 13 Grammy awards and the Grammy Lifetime achievement award. His singing career began when he joined his brothers in the Jackson 5. They recorded a number of songs such as big boy. The group later changed their name to the Jacksons. Michael was the songwriter and he wrote a number of songs like; can you feel it, this place hotel and shake your body.
