David Michael Letterman was born on April 12, 1947in Indianapolis, Indiana. He was born to Harry Joseph Letterman, a florist, who died on February 13, 1973 and Dorothy Letterman who is a church secretary. He is a comedian, an American television host and television and film producer. David hosts the Late Show with David Letterman on CBS. He has a company,the Worldwide Pants, which is responsible for producing his show. The company has also produced comedies such as Everybody Loves Raymond. He has been on the late night television since 1982. Michaelgot married to Michelle Cook but they later got divorced. Healso had a relationship with Merrill Markoe. In 1986,he dated Regina Lasko. They have a son Harry Joseph Letterman. Regina and David got married in civil ceremony in 2009.He announced his marriage after he had congratulated Bruce Willis on his new marriage.
