He is one of the most influential senators of the United States of America. He has had a very influential and powerful career throughout his three tenures as the senator of America. He has had very important roles and decisions to make regarding the governance of this superpower right after the Second World War.

A pilot by profession, he knew very well the adversaries and destruction of a war and had carefully taken decisions regarding the situation and activities of America during the Cold War era.

He had also voted against President Bill Clinton when he was being tried for an impeachment due to breach of office terms.

He was so charismatic a leader that he was no less than being elected as the Vice President of the United States.
