Amy Jade Winehouse was an English songwriter-singer recognized for her deep contralto vocals as well as her diverse mix of melodic genres, together with R&B, jazz, soul and reggae. 2003 debut album of Amy Winehouse, Frank, was a dangerous success in the United Kingdom and was chosen for the Mercury Prize.
