Manoj Nelliyattu Shyamalan is also known as Manoj Night Shyamalan is an Indian- American producer, director and scriptwriter. He was born in India and his parents were doctors. He got a super eight camera from his father as a gift at the age of just 8. His role model is famous director ‘Steven Spielberg’. He loves to make supernatural films like ‘The Sixth sense’, ‘Signs’, ‘The Happening’, ‘Unbreakable’ etcetera. Walt Disney studio has co-produced his most of the hit films. He has been honored with Padma Shri award from Government of India. Manoj is the screenwriter of super hit film ‘Stuart little’ with Greg Brooker. His most prominent and successful film was ‘The Sixth Sense’ which was nominated for Academy awards in six different categories. His latest flick is ‘After Earth’ which is ex directed by him.
