Vidya p. Balan was born on January 1, 1978 in Ottapalam Palakkad district.She is the daughter of P.R Balan who is the vice president of ETC channel and saraswathy balan who is a home maker. She has a sister who works in advertising. They moved to road number 11 near ambedkar garden in Bombay. She got her degree in sociology from St.Xavier’s college.  She is an Indian actress who gained lot of popularity for Bollywood movies.Balan has featured vin Shubha Mudgal, Pankaj udhas and euphoria; all three being music videos. She also appeared in TV series hum paanch and haste khelte. Vidya has received a five film fare award, five screen awards and national film award. She has featured in television commercials. Her first Hindu film parineeta gave her a breakthrough.She got the best female debut all thanks .She has featured in a number of movies such balki. She first released “no one killed Jessica”.
