Sharni Vinson was born on 22nd July 1983 in Sydney, New South Wales. She appeared in a number of TV series from 2004-2013. She was cast as the role of Cassie Turner in the TV series, Home and Away (2004-2008). Originally, she auditioned to take up the role of Martha Mackenzie for the show. However, the role was taken by Jodi Gordon later. She appeared as Caitlin in one episode of the TV series, My Boys (2008). She appeared as Lori Mandel in the episode, Hostage in CSI:NY (2008). She played the role of Lilly in the TV film, Austin Gold Hour. She played as Jeannette in the episode, Broken Bird in NCIS (2009. She played as Mia Romanov in the episode, Metamorphossis in the TV series, Cold Case (2010. She starred in a number of films including Step Up 3D (2010), Blue Crush 2 (2011), No Man's Land (2011), Bait 3D (2012), and You're Next (2013).
