David Cross mini bio: David Cross, a writer and stand-up comedian began his career at the age of seventeen and made his presence felt in the industry by 1992. Over the years he experienced great success in the stand-up work. He worked in the beloved movie ‘Alvin and the Chipmunks’ and many more films in small yet dynamic roles. He is known for his role in the sitcom ‘Arrested Development’ as Tobias Funke and ‘The Increasingly Poor Decisions of Todd Margaret’, for which he was also the creator, writer and the executive producer. Another such sitcom on Comedy Central was the Freak Show which he developed and also had a prominent role in. He also has been seen in a recurring role in the much loved television series 'Modern Family'. He has also in his name certain comedy albums which he produced and made available to the world.
