Matthew David McConaughey is an acclaimed actor in America with tons of super hit films to his credit. McConaughey got his first break with a comedy age film Dazed and Confused in 1993 which was break out for the actor. Later he diversified his movie portfolio with variety of genres including the horror and thriller Texas Chainsaw Massacre: The Next Generation (1994), the lawful thriller A Time to Kill (1996), Steven Spielberg's chronological drama Amistad (1997), the sci-fi drama Contact (1997), the comedy EDtv (1999) and the epic war film U-571 (2000).

Later in the year 2000s he was casted in various comedy movies which exhibited him as a romantic hero with comic styling and great sense of humor. His latest hits being a romantic comedian are Bernie, Killer Joe and Magic Mike. His latest sensation of 2013 is Dallas Buyer’s Club which is super hit in first few weeks of the release.
