For what it's worth, I will be 69 this month...  In 1980's, My mother (before she died)  told me that she had an affair with Jack Durant 'the actor' in 1945...and that I was very likely his son; as my father was in the Army at the time.. I do have a strong likeliness with his posted picture...  There was no love between Jack and my mom and she said it was a one night stand.. and she only told me about it when I asked her about a health related issue... My aunt confirmed this family secret before she died..  and a part of me is still wondering who I am... My mom was trying to help... but she caused me much confusion about my life reality and beliefs... I have tried to contact any of Durant's relatives without luck... I want nothing other than the comfort to know where I am from... and I did not want to break my dad's heart by telling him... I have lived a life of self awareness and personal honor... so even if I never connect with my Durant relatives, I can still appreciate  and love my children..Steve (presite3@msn.com)
