George Clinton mini bio: George Clinton was born on 22nd July 1941 in Kannapolis, North Carolina. He formed his own music group called The Parliaments when he was a teenager. He worked as a barber in New Jersey when he formed the doo-wop group. He was a songwriter for Motown in the 1960s. After moving to Detroit, he formed the group Funkadelic. There were over 40 music from Parliament-Funakadelic that became R&B hit singles. He became a solo artist starting in 1982. Parliament-Funkadelic became listed in the Rock and Roll Hall of Fame Clinton entered into the North Carolina Music Hall of Fame in 2009. he wrote the theme song called “You're Thinking Right” for The Tracey Ullman Show. He received the Urban Icon Award from Broadcast Music Incorporated in 2009. Clinto had released many albums such as Computer Games (1982), You Shouldn't-Nuf Bit Fis (1982), Some of My Best Jokes Are Friends (1985), R&B Skeletons in the Closet (1986), Te Cinderella Theory (1989) and etc.
