Neil Percival Kenneth Robert raglad young was born on November 12, 1945 in Toronto, Canada. He is a musician and Canadian singer-songwriter. Neil co-founded the buffalo Springfield band together with Richie furay and Stephen still. He has also directed several films such as Greendale, human highway and the journey through the past. he is the son of Edna blow ragland young who died in 1990 and Scott alexander young who died in 2005.neil has won a number of awards such as theGrammy award for the best rock song, a juno award for the artist of the year, he has also won a Grammy award for the best art direction and the rock and roll hall of fame.in 1982, hewas included in the Canadian music hall of fame. He has won a number of Juno awards including male vocalist of the year and male vocalist of the year.Neil received two honorary doctorates.one is an honorary doctorate of music which e he got from Lakeland University and the second one is a doctorate of humane letters that he got from SanFrancisco state university.
