John Michael Crichton was born on the 23rd October 1942 in Chicago, Illinois to John Henderson Crichton, a journalist, and Zula Miller Crichton. He is a best sellinh author, producer, director and screenwriter in America. More than two hundred millions copies of his books were sold worldwide. Most of his novels have technology themes. The first novel that Michael Crichton published is Odds On. His novel, Scratch One was published the next year. Two novels were published in 1968 including Easy Go and A Case of Need. He published 3 novels in 1969 including Zero Cool, The Andromeda Strain, and The Venom Business. He published the novel, Grave Descend in 1970/ He was nominated for the Edgar Award for the this novel. He published 2 novels including Binary and The Terminal Men in 1972. Some of the bestselling novels he authored include The Andromeda Strain, Jurassic Park, Congo, Travels, Sphere, Rising Sun, Disclosure, The Lost World, Airframe, Timeline, Prey, State of Fear, and Next.
