Cuba M. Gooding Jr. was born on the 2nd of January in 1968, in the city of New York. The actor began his career as a guest performer in Hill Street blues. The role given to him turned out to be very important for him as it opened the gates for him to become a mature actor on the silver screen. It was in 1991 that the actor received the first major role of his life in Boyz n the Hood. His supportive performance in Jerry Maguire allowed him to earn the award for the best supporting actor in the movie.

The actor was last seen in Sacrifice (a 2011 movie). Thereafter, there have been no current issues about him playing a major role in any of the upcoming movies in Hollywood.
