Alejandro Jodorowsky mini bio: Alejandro Jodorowsky was born to Jewish Ukrainian parents on February 7th 1929 in Chile, Latin America. Alejandro Jodorowsky is a filmmaker, actor and writer. He dropped out of college when he was young. After that, he worked as a clawn in a theatre before starting te theater troupe, the Teatro Mimico in 1947. His first feaure firlm was Fando y Lis. He directed many movies including The Holy Mountain, El Topo, King Shot, Santa Sangre, Fando y Lis, The Rainbow Thief, Tusk, Les têtes interverties, The Dance of Reality, Abel Cain, and Dune. Alejandro Jodorowsky was the producer of The Holy Mountain, The Dance of Reality and Apolinar. The film, El Topo, whoch was produced in 1970 was one of the first movie that became a super hit. Alejandro Jodorowsky planned to do a feature film called Frank Herbert's "Dune". Over the years, he had directed more than 100 theatre plays. Some of the theatre plays he had directed include Zaratustra, El ensueno, Las sillas, Ano 2001 and etc. His cinematic influence comes from Federico Fellini. He was an influential figure to Marilyn Manson.
