Bhanurekha Ganesan, well known as Rekha made her appearance in several Hindi movies. Born in India, Rekha has made several hits by her flawless acting and sensual body gestures. Some of the hits include Rangula Ratnam, a Telugu movie that helped her achieve the National Film Fare Award in Telugu category. She started the acting career way back in 1966 as a child artist. She has been featured in several Indian magazines as the sex symbol in the Hollywood industry. It was very difficult for her to be successful in the early age because for her looks. She has made more than 180 movies over her career of 40 years in the industry. Some of the classy movies are UmraoJaan, Khubsoorat, KhoonBhariMaang and many more. She has been awarded and honored by the Government as “Padma Shri” award for her contribution to the Indian film industry.
