His biggest breakthrough came when he acted in a TV series called fastlane which was released in the year 2002. Peter essayed the role of Carlisle Cullen in the twilight series. He also acted as Mike Dexter in the film called hardly can’t wait. Currently peter is working in the television series called Nurse Jackie. The childhood of Facinelli was spent in the ozone park. Both of his parents were from the North Italian part of the country. Facinelli debuted in the feature film called Angela in 1995. Critics lauded his performance in the movie called Price of love. In the year 1996 facinelli starred opposite to Jennie Grath in the unfinished affair. Facinelli also acted in the sci-fi movie Supernova and the HBO series called the six feet under.
