Katie Noelle Holmes popularly known as “Katie” was born on December 18, 1978 in Toledo, Ohio.She is an actress by profession. Her big break was in the movie Dawson’s Creek. She has also made appearance s in art house, batman, ice storm, abandon and don’t be afraid of the dark. Katie has made appearances in the television series how I met your mother. She is the daughter of Martin Joseph Holmes and Kathleen who is a philanthropist. Holmes has four siblings; Nancy Kay, Tamera, martin joseph and Holly Ann. She dated Joshua Jackson who was her costar in the film Dawson’s creek.She hada relationship with Chris Klein, got engaged but they did not get married. After this separation, Katie got engaged to Tom Cruise and later got married in 2006.They had a daughter together, Suri cruise.They got divorced and Katie got custody over their daughter Suri.
