Born as Reginald Kenneth Dwight,Sir Elton Hercules John was born in the year 1947.  The multi talented English pianist, composer, song writer, singer and actor have proved that talent is not restricted to one field. He has worked with the famous lyricist, Bernie Taupin in 1967 to make more than 30 albums. In his career of five decade he has sold over 300 million files. He is known as the best-selling artist across the world. To his name, he has over 40 hits in different genre of songs. Some of his successful songs which still are popular among youths include Candle in the Wind, Billboard Hot 100 and a lot more. For his dedication to the music, he received Grammy Award, Brit Award, Academy Award, and Golden Globe Award to name some.  The Billboard magazine named him as the 3rd most successful solo artist. In the Rolling Stone magazine, he was ranked 49among top 100 influential music artist in the era of rock and roll.
