Christopher Peter Meloni is an American actor who was born on 2ndApril 1961 and is well known for his work in the television shows like Elliot Stabler, Law and Order, Oz, True Blood etc. He played a role in Man of steel as well. A very few people know that he was a construction worker before he started his acting career. Before working as a construction worker, he has worked as a bartender, bouncer and Personal gym trainer as well. Meloni had to struggle a lot to get where he is now. He started from commercials and Television serials and later started working in films. He has done the remarkable roles in Bound and in Runaway bride as well. He is currently working on his upcoming movie Sin City which is expected to be released in 2014.
