Mariah Carey mini bio: Mariah Angela Carey is a well known singer, song writer, recording artist and an actor. In the early 1990s Mariah got an opportunity that was presented to her platter by famous Tommy Mottola, an executive of Columbia Records, to sign a $100 million contract with the Music Company and debut an album with the self title. Mariah Carey (the album) got immense response from the music lovers’ world wide. In the golden career of twenty years, Carey faced many problems, many emotional breakdowns and physical exhaustion. Yet she was able to register her name for selling highest number of singles records in America and became highest selling actor in Columbia. She was also famed with the title of Best Selling Artist of the Millennium in the year 2000. In the fall of April 2008 she introduced her single number with ‘Touch my Body’ which became so popular that she pushed Elvis’s ranking in the chart of Singles and became potent enough to give a good side to the Beatles.
