He has time and again proved his versatility as an actor and has won over the hearts of millions of people worldwide. His movies have not only been appreciated in his homeland but many have also got worldwide releases through various film festivals and other events.

He has been nominated for many awards and holds many honorary titles and awards.

His personal life had been very unstable. He has been married thrice and has six children, two from each of his marriages. In fact during his third marriage his best man was none other than French President Nicolas Sarkozy.
