John Lennon mini bio:

John Lennon was a founder member of Beatles and got worldwide fame being a singer, songwriter, and musician. Lennon was a world famous musician who got fame with Beatles, and got critically acclaimed for his popular albums and numbers. He also got into music partnership with Paul McCartney with whom he composed evergreen hit numbers of 20th Century.

Born and brought up in US, John Lennon belonged to average earning family. But his love and passion for music got him engaged in the bands. The first one which he formed was Skiffle Craze and later on he formed Quarrymen which was renamed as Beatles. Lennon was actually rebellious by nature that showed in his music, writings and painting. He was also controversial for his political and cultural views, in 1971 Lennon showed his criticism towards the Vietnam War for which he was not much appreciated. In 1980, Lennon was shot dead in the entrance of his apartment.
