Edson Avantes do Nascimentois commonly known as “Pele”. He was born on October 21, 1940 in Tres Conacoes Minas Gerains. He is a retired footballer. The International Federation of Football history and statistics voted him player of the year. Edson is known for his contributions and accomplishment in football. He started playing football for his national team when he was 16 years old. Pele won his first world cup when he was 17 years. He is the son of footballer, Dordinho. He got married to Rosemeridos Reis Chelhi in 1966. Pele has two daughters, Jennifer and Kelly Cristina and also a son Edson. They later divorced and Edson got involved with Xuxa. He got married to Assiria Lemos Seixas in 1994 and they had twins, Celeste and Joshua. Unfortunately, the couple got separated. After ending his career in football, he went ahead to do ambassadorial work.
