Dominic Haakon Myrtvedt Purcell was born on 17th February 1970 in Wallasey, England. He used to study at The Australian Theater for Young People. When study at the Western Australia Academy of Performing Arts, he was classmate with Hugh Jackman. He was able to live and work in America after winning a green card lottery. He has appearances in several television shows including Home and Away (1991), Raw FM (1997-1998), Water Rats (1998), Heartbreak High (1999), Beastmaster (2001), The Lost World (2001), John Doe (2002-2003), House M.D. (2004), North Shore (2004-2005), Prison Break (2005-2009), Castle (2011, and Common Jaw (2012). He filmed the show Prison Break in Joliet Prison. He played as Cleric Preston in the movie Equilibrium. He performed all the sword fighting stunts in Blade in Blade: Trinity (2004) He is currently filming A Fighting Man. His post production movies include Suddenly, In the Name of the King III, and Split Decision.
