Brett Ratner mini bio:

Brett Ratner was born on the 28th March 1969 to Marcia and Ronald Ratner. Brett Ratner studied film at the Tisch School of Arts in NYU. He attracted the attention of Steven Spielberg while studying at NYU. Spielberg helped to fund his senior project. He was director of a number of music videos and films such as Rush Hour and The Silence of the Lambs. He had appeared on the MTV series Punk'd. He was involved in the reality TV series On the Lot along with Carrie Fisher, Garry Marshall and Jon Avnet on the 25th April 2007. He also starred in one of the episodes of Entourage which was filmed at his Beverly Hills home. He had 3 books published by Rat Press. He also published his own magazine called Ratmag by the publisher MYMAG. He had produced a movie called Snow White, Mirror Mirror (2012). He also produced a number of documentary films including Catfish, and American Masters: WoodyAllen – A Documentary.
