Ian Somerhalder mini bio:

Ian Joseph Somerhalder was born on December 1978. The American model and actor is known to the world for his role as Boone Carlyle in the TV series Lost. Later he also appeared in Vampire Diaries, which was quite popular among audience. Somerhalder was raised in Covington. He is the son of massage therapist, Edna, and Robert Somerhalder, who had his independent building business. He went to St. Paul's, a Catholic school in his hometown at Covington. He went abroad on a modeling career between the age of 10 -13, and by completing 17 yearshe made up his mind to go for acting.In the end summer 2000, Somerhalder was featured in the WB series Young Americans. He played the role of Hamilton Fleming, son of a dean at a prestigious school. In the year 2002, Somerhalder acted as a bisexual character  called Paul Denton The Rules of Attraction, along with James Van Der Beek, Jessica Biel and Shannyn Sossamon.
