Sylvie Vartan belongs to Bulgaria. She was born on 15 August, 1944. Her heritage is Hungarian and Armenian- Bulgarian. She devoted her career to music. She appeared in a famous hit – The Beatles. In 1964, she was seen performing in Paris Olympia. Later on she released her single album which was a big hit in America. Her song- “I want to Hold Your Hand” became so popular that it boosted the spirits of Americans. Not only this, it got first position among the top songs.

Sylvie Vartan is in relation with many famous stars. She is the mother of famous star David Hally Day. Nicolas and Michael Vartan are her nephews and Eddie Vartan is her elder sister. WHO made her their Good Will Ambassador of European region for Maternal and Child Care.
