Jamie Lee Curtis mini bio: Jamie Lee Curtis, Lady Haden-Guest was born on November 22, 1958 in Santa Monica, California, U.S. She is the daughter of Tony Curtis, an actor, and Janet Leigh, an actress. She has an older sister, Kelly Curtis, an actress too. Her other siblings are from her father’s remarriages: Alexandra, Allegra, Ben and Nicholas who died after a drug overdose. She went to the University of the Pacific in Stockton, California to major in social work, but quit to pursue an acting career. She has had starring roles in several horror films like Halloween, The Frog, Prom Night and Terror Train and was thus known as a scream queen. She has won BAFTA and Golden Globe awards .She is not only an actress but also a blogger and author. She has a husband, Christopher Guest, 5th Baron Haden-Guest, who is an actor, director and screenwriter. They have two adopted children, Annie and Thomas. Her greatest life achievement is recovering from being an alcoholic.
