The most significant role in his career came with the role of John Lennon in the movie Nowhere Boy. He is also very popular for his role of David "Dave" Lizewski in the movie Kick Ass. His most recognized work includes movies like The Greatest, Angus, Thongs and Perfect Snogging, The Apocalypse, Shanghai Knights, Kick-Ass 2, Kick Ass, and Nowhere Boy.
