“John Swithen” whose real name is Stephen Edwin king was born on September 21, 1947in Portland, Maine.Edwin is a writer, screen writer, actor, columnist and novelist. He has sold over 350 million books.Hehas written two hundred books and published 50 novels. He has received quite a number of awards such as the British fantasy society awards, Bram stoker awards, nebulla awards and world fantasy awards. Stephen has also received Henry award because of the short story” the man in the black suit”. He is the son of Donald Edwin king, a merchant, and Nellie Ruth.Edwin has received awards the book “world fantasy award for life achievement which was published in 2004. He studied English in the University of Maine and graduated with Bachelor of Arts in English. He is married to Tabitha king. They have three children; Owen king, Joeking and Naomi king and three grandchildren.He published his first collection in 2005.
