Sir Richard Charles Nicholas Branson, an English business person was born in the year 1950. He is an investor and business magnate. He is known for his dedicated work in foundation of the Virgin Group which includes more than 400 companies. At the age of 16, he started business with a magazine called “Student”. Later in 1970, he opened a lot of retail stores, Virgin Records. In the later part the stores were known by the name Virgin Megastores. The brand grew up tremendously in 1980s and he further set up Virgin Atlantic which was expanded to Virgin Records. He is rated as the 4th richest person in the UK according to the Forbes magazine for the year 2012. The total worth of business comes to around US$4.6 billion. Branson initiated his business from a church crypt where he managed to run the magazine “student “successfully. He is the inspiration for many business entrepreneurs.
